Why lubrication matters

Viscosity selection

Choose viscosity from speed, load, temperature, materials and supplier guidance rather than a universal oil grade.

Additives and compatibility

Extreme-pressure additives, yellow-metal compatibility, seals and coatings must be checked together.

Contamination control

Dust, water and crop residue can turn the lubricant abrasive or corrosive. Use seals, breathers and inspection intervals.
