Documentation discipline
Standards are selected by contract
Standards provide terminology, tolerance systems and calculation methods, but the RFQ must name the edition and acceptance criteria.
- Do not infer an accuracy grade from a photo.
- Do not publish certification logos without validated scope and expiry.
- Use calibrated methods appropriate to each characteristic.
- Record approved deviations and revisions.
